The RBMS celebrated its 30th birthday in style in late November at Riverland on the banks of the Yarra. Thank you to all 70 of you who joined us – it was great to see the mix of new faces, long time members, past and present committee members and even a few founding members. Our 30th anniversary was a great opportunity to reflect on the many changes to the way we manage our waterways, and our new lifetime member, Ian Rutherfurd, and current President, Mark Stacey, spoke about the achievements of the RBMS and the challenges ahead for our organisation and industry. It was a great chance to catch up with friends and colleagues raise our glasses to the next 30 years! (We won’t wait so long until the next party though!)
