Programs

RBMS funds research grants for Honours and Masters students each year. The next round of applications will open in March 2024.

We also run the RBMS mentoring program pairing mentors (>5 years’ experience) and mentees (undergraduate or entry level professionals with less than 5 years’ experience). Mentoring can serve many purposes by helping an individual develop a new skill, assist with problem solving, boost confidence in communications and engagement, widen a network or provide some direction. Our program provides a flexible and semi-formal approach to enable members to better connect.

Our partnerships

RBMS is a proud supporter of the Waterway Management Emerging Leaders Program, a mentoring program established to develop our emerging leaders in the water and waterway management industry.

We are also a proud partner of the Wise Water Ways Workshop.
