The Victorian Waterway Management Strategy has been through a six-week public consultation period during which 21 information sessions were held by the Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE), including an initial seminar for the RBMS in October 2012.
DSE received a total of 75 submissions and has now added a Community Feedback document that summarises the feedback they received.
The RBMS provided a submission based on discussions at a recent reading group – read our submission below. With our role on the stakeholder reference committee we are also assisting DSE with revisions. The final report is likely to be released mid-year.
